We have had a very busy, yet very fun couple of months. We spent Thanksgiving with my family in Illinois. It was so fun. Luke, Lily, and I spent a night in Chicago and met up with my sister and her family for yummy Chicago pizza and swimming. The next day we walked around, shopped, took pictures, and of course went to the American Girl store. Lily already loved it. I didn't have Luke convinced she needed an expensive doll yet, but it will happen some time:)
We got to spend Christmas at Luke's parents in Washington. It was definitely a white Christmas:) Lily was sick the entire time we were there, which was a bummer, but it was still so fun to see everyone! We saw Santa at Thanksgiving point by our house. It didn't go so well...
Lil's birthday was December 6th. Can you believe she is already ONE?! I can't! She is growing up so fast and becoming less and less a baby everyday.
We had a Winter "One"derland party for her birthday. We had pizza, cake and ice cream, candy, and played pin the nose on the snowman.
We let Lil smash into her cake, but she didn't do much smashing. More just poking and looking. I'm hoping next year she will be more interested:)
Some things about Miss Lilian...
She is a very picky eater. Throws most of the stuff we give her on the ground, at us, or smashes it all up and then wipes it anywhere she can reach.
Likes using big people forks, and is so proud of herself when she actually gets food to stick on it and eats it. Will still use her baby spoon for oatmeal and yogurt, but is over finger food and wants to eat most things from a fork.
Loves putting tops on things and trying to twist them closed.
1 Year Stats: coming soon
